Memories...Do Not Open Tracklist:
Something just like this and Paris is amazing. Im a type of guy that started to listen to Chainsmokers after they released Closer so if you like their style since then, you will love this. For people that doesn’t their change. This album is maybe not for them. But I also like the old Chainsmokers as well so. I’m not sure about what kind of album they want.
Great singers great lyrics great music. Been listening to it on repeat for 2 years now and still not one bit sick of it. Much better than all the basic rap garbage you hear on the radio these days. Hands down the best album and songs you will ever hear in your entire life, don’t @ me because I will fight you. If you hate on this album you’re cancelled.
There’s a reason these two dudes called their album do not open. Listen to them and for the love of god DO NOT OPEN these songs. Yes, this album has catchy dance beats, sure it has some slower songs now to make some balance, but they're all the same. The only diversity in this album comes from its guest appearances, and I feel really bad for them if they had to resort to recording with The Chainsmokers. These two wannabes have no creativity, they have no diversity, and on top of that, they have no singing voices. All their melodies span the same five or six notes, and it's just really sad to watch people get drawn into their redundant formula for "music" because even though it's not horrible by definition (it's not just a bunch of noise), but it's not music. Music has heart and soul and expression and actual work put into it, but all these dudes have is a keyboard, a fixed set of chords, and meaningless fame they use as an excuse to call themselves artists,
Isn’t my favorite thing by them, but I don’t think it’s terrible, I like a good amount of songs on here, there’s a couple I could live without, but all in all, I like the idea behind the album...overall 7.5/10
Going into this album, I knew that it was going to be pop oriented, which I was fine with considering how "The One" and "Paris" sounded. They were both beautiful tracks, and I loved them both. The rest of the album, however, just feels... lacklustre... It still has standout titles, like Something Just Like This, Paris & The One, as well as new released songs like Honest, definitely Bloodstream & Young. It's a decent album, but it has let every Chainsmokers fan I know down. You'll probably forget about these songs within a few months, but you'll hear these songs in a club in ten years and all the memories will rush back. 8/10
I like Something Just Like This, It Won’t Kill Ya, and Paris, but the rest of the album is full of formulaic production and annoying lyrics. You guys were great on the Bouquet EP and Don’t Let Me Down, but this is just horrible.
They should have just put the material from the EP's and Something like this and Paris and made that an album. This album feels very generic and lacks the feel of their previous EP's. Minus 2-3 songs, its just not that great.
