Slipknot - We Are Not Your Kind

℗ 2019 Roadrunner Records, Inc.

We Are Not Your Kind Tracklist:

Pretty expieramental but good. It is a strong 3.5/5 in my opinion Or a 7/10. But some tracks on here just don’t do it for me. But other tracks are really good. I still think it is a pretty cool album.

Pandora can shove it

I could do without some of the interludes bit the rest of the songs make up for it! Amazing stuff!

I’m Quinn r and I am 10years old and I can not listen to a song that has bad words in it so can you make a clean version of this to:slipknot ps love it to I only have only the clean songs 🙂 and who is the new members name? And where’s chris fhen

Absolutely great

Best metal album of the year!!!!!!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟

rockstar clarke

Not there best. It it’s solid.

J's thoughts

Great album to listen to in the gym or drive in ya car ....

Mal Valdez

This is a different step and sound for Slipknot but nonetheless I absolutely love this album!

Solid album, heavy, creative, not groundbreaking but definitely what the doctor ordered.

Unsainted, Birth of The Cruel, Spiders, Nero Forte, and Critical Darling are probably the best songs in this album. Only Gripe: The old original sound is lacking Summary: Very good album. Its a break from all the pop and r&b. Keep rockin bois 👌🤟

I’ve been waiting so long for this and they did not disappoint

Piston Bull

This maybe their best album. Easily my favorite Slipknot album.

The new stuff has no punch! I just can’t get into it! 👎

Seanbo Deluxei

This is the best album slipknot has ever done! Great job!g

Really heavy and very experimental, probably Slipknot’s best album. Some great memorable songs.

Absolutely incredible, evolved and heavy. Satisfies any slipknot craving you might have.

Amazing stuff these guys do

I can’t get enough of this album. They always know how to create amazing music but this album has something extra to it

Hard Knock Hawks

I saw this band in club DV8 in Seattle in the late 90’s. With Dope, and Coal Chamber headlined. Since then I’ve seen the first Knotfest, and most recently the first Knotfest Road Show. Not to mention all the shows in between. Even getting back stage in Auburn, Wa the night Sid broke his ankles/feet with my 12 year old daughter. We pilfered both dressing rooms. My daughter still has a drum head that reads, “if I were king” through the diameter closing in on the center. Now that I’ve established my tenure as a knot fan, this album is fantastic. Obviously it’s a vent pipe for Corey, and his recent divorce. I appreciate adult writing especially at this stage in both our lives. The music is always technical. It’s the meld between reality, and the observers perspective that I think I love most. It varies from person to person, as it should. I do agree that All Out Life should be on here. Selling the song as a stand alone was obviously a marketing tactic meant to stimulate the saliva glands. Why not include it at this point?

Love this band! Another great album!

ABN Infantryman

After being hugely dissapointed by "the Gray chapter", which was released about three years ago, I was not overyly excited about WANYK. I guess you could say that I was cautiously optomistic since I am a long-time Slipknot fan (since the first album). After the first 5 listens, I realized that WANYK is absolutly amazing! There are at least 6 tracks on this album that are instant classics. It's honestly hard to choose one stand out track since there are so many great ones. This album has exactly what you'd expect from Slipknot: Amazing, crushingly heavy guitar playing and riffs, super fast but tight drumming, and catchy, melodic singing. 3.0 used to be my favorite Slipknot album but I have to say, WANYK keeps growing on me so fast that I think it will become my favorite.

double pedaling monster

Man I didn’t think they could power threw losing so many members from different things! Jay Weinberg never missed a beat! I never thought anyone could replace Joey but I was wrong!! Love this freaking album!!!

I really think this is a fantastic album. Seriously. A fine piece of music from a band that has been around for more than twenty years and still has plenty to say. I’ve seen a few negative reviews and feel these are coming from whiny over privileged millennials that will never be happy with anything because they are over caffeinated, overstimulated products of a technology based generation that can’t appreciate an honest effort at an artist’s craft. Slipknot still delivers the goods and are relevant to those who appreciate musicians who make music that they believe in. Great album!

Slipknot has had quite the journey up to this point. Their last two albums, while having a handful of songs that are on par with the band’s potential, stumbled heavily and the results were a far cry from what they’re capable me of. I got excited when I heard All Out Life last year. Then Unsainted came out during a time where the lyrics mirrored what I was going through personally at the time. And then they released Solway Firth, a song that I cannot stop listening to. For me, this is their best song ever. It stands head and shoulders above everything else they’ve written. Just a great song and a great ending to a great album.

Good wateva

Orphan,Nero Forte

While I enjoy the heaviness and aggression Slipknot maintains. There’s just something a little off when they try to go too much in that “Pink Floyd” direction.

Snoop Hogg

Please quit slipnot. This album is worse than Tools and Corns.

The Eclipse Of Luna

This is good stuff. It sounds like their old music, but with a little bit of new sounds. It’s good but I have to admit, not as good as their older stuff. Don’t get me wrong, this is their best album since Vol.3, there was a few good songs in between then, but I can only think of 4 without hearing the song (Psycosocial, sulfur, The devil in I, and Snuff), but all the songs on here are great, it’s easy to listen to the whole album without skipping one or two songs to get to the next good one! Makes me hopeful for the next album they release

Cadence Wallace

Heard these guys live at the Knotfest Roadshow in San Bernardino and had a blast! Slipknot still knows how to bring it :)

This to me is the best of all time... judge me, but I don’t care. This is the best yet! Especially Solway Firth!

Since Vol. 3 I feel Slipknot has found the path to groove. And this album is pure groove. It's heavy, angry, inspriring and just a trip. It's F'ing good album.

Me gosta

This was probably one of the most anticipated albums of the year and it was worth the wait! It’s not traditional Slipknot, but that’s what makes it Slipknot. So experimental and shows how much potential the band still has. Corey’s vocals are INSANE! Ever since he stopped smoking his screams and singing have gotten SO much better. Over all, I love it.

Good but not Iowa.

grizz zzzzzzzz

Love the instrumental thought throughout the album

This album is one of the best yet! I listen to it daily now, it love it!

The first single from this album was All Out Life and it’s not even on the album???!

WAS here before them, they are copy cats put together by the label.... At least Mushroomhead formed naturally.

Mr. Moto99

this is by far one of their best albums!!! I've been listening to this album NON STOP!!!

Exactly what I expected from these guys. Great album.

Awesome album. Way better than gray chapter and all hope is gone. It is either tied or slightly better than volume 3. Nero forte, and a liars funeral is awesome. I wish that the only short song was insert coin. Death because of death should have been replaced with a heavier song and the what’s next should have been a longer intro from spiders or cut. My pain does not deserve all the hate. This album is sic. If your 555 than I’m 666. Can we get music videos for Nero forte, a liars funeral, and orphan or critical darling.

The knot never fails

Tony Face

This album is pretty metal. Could be metaler. It’s still pretty metal though.

Another great album. Slipknot just knows what there doing.

Corey Taylor & crew don’t disappoint with We Are Not Your Kind. Unsainted is a masterpiece!!

It has enough of the aggression from the Iowa style mixed with the melodic capabilities of Vol 3 resulting in a perfect combination. Very well may be their best album.

After giving me self almost 2 weeks to listen to We Are Not Your Kind. I have to say that a love it. I consider it to be a cross between Iowa & Vol. 3 with some extra influence sprinkled in there. And by “extra influence” I’m taking about the song “Spiders”. I think it’s awesome, but I couldn’t help but joke to myself that sounds like something Mushroomhead would have written. The song might as well have been produced by Steve “Skinny” Felton. But I mean that in a good way because I love Mushroomhead too. It was just me being silly.......As for the rest of the album? It hits hard and has some awesome melodies in the choruses that stick to your brain, Nero Forte is the best example. Love the song “Orphan”. It’s probably the heaviest song on the album. I love how there are songs that get a little more progressive than a song like “All Out Life”, I felt like that song had too many repeating riffs. With song like “Orphan” and “Red Flag”, they do a great job adding more riffs to their “recipe”. Sadly, I think “My Pain” is a wasted track. I think they should have added another heavy hitter in its place. But it’s not my band, so who cares. Buy this album and put Slipknot where they deserve, standing on the top of the musical heap over all the pop garbage that’s ruining the music world.

a blessing

Bought this album and took a few times through to really appreciate what was here. But once it’s hooked you, it gives you a new appreciation for this band. Pulse of the Maggots!
