Legendary is by far the best song in the album.

Love skillet so much rock on

The same people writing negative reviews are going to be the same people crying about wanting the "old sound back" if skillet ever changes their tune. Keep doing what you're doing guys

Thank you Skillet for the wonderful music. If I could download your music to my soul I would 😊. I suffer from depression but every time I’m feeling depressed I will listen to your music and it instantly makes me feel great again so once again thank you so so much.

Mr Mushrum

I personally don’t like it as much as their old music, but I still like it.

Comatose was the album that had me like SKILLET and Victorious is the album that has me love SKILLET. This is the best album so far.

I love this up beat album. Skillet always keeps me going even when I don’t want to. Thanks a lot!

I love this band! Skillet is a gift from above! So powerful for many many reasons! Anchor and Finish Line are beyond amazing! Please keep them coming! Skillet rocks!!!

Found one of their songs by accident and ever since then I’ve been listening to them. Amazing songs I have one folder that has nothing but their songs on my phone.

Skillet some people just don’t get Christian hard rock ... just sometimes

eli how

Dubstep with hard vocals no guitar drums sound preprogrammed older stuff better

Between Victorious and Unleashed I like a few songs, but, as most fans would agree, Skillet’s best work is from the Collide to Rise era. My favorite is Back to Life, it actually sounds a lot like their Collide music. 3.5 stars between the two.

All I can say is Legendary!

This is an amazing album i don’t care what people think keep up the good work skillet

Really good album

Stop with the hate. Skillet is always on top of their songs, and getting even better with each passing album. Ignore the hate, you’re amazing skillet. F the haters.

I love the song Anchor by Skillet because it says “you are my anchor...” and when I am feeling blue I just listen to the song and that sentence really shows me that God is holding me up and will never let go!

Looking at these negative reviews, they are staying on the same subject of “these are generic, general, pump up songs”. I hope everyone realizes that Skillet is a Christian rock band. They keep songs in the neutral territory so more people can relate to their music. If they went to 100% worship songs, a lot of people would complain about that. These songs help a lot of people, regardless of their faith and beliefs. That is what Christianity is about. Skillet, you guys and gals do an amazing job and I think I understand why you guys do what you do. I hope others can start to realize that as well. Your songs really do help people. Anchor really spoke to me and I have been jamming out to that a lot recently. Keep on rocking and God Bless all of you!! And to the haters, we love you just the same!

Great songs skillet, keep up the good work and don’t listen to all the people who feel the need to hate on you.

This album just kablooied my mind hole THIS IS EPIC!! Skillet is epic!!

Meamye Celphandigh

Anyone who says these guys are Christian most definitely have no idea what true Christianity is, true Christians wouldn’t teach others to act rebellious against god, true Christians wouldn’t think that they’re better than others or teach other people to think that they’re better than other people and true Christians aren’t bigots and doesn’t teach others to be bigots so there for all these guys are full of bigotry and hatred and I want nothing to do with people who think otherwise

I'd listen to this but I wouldn't waste any coin on it. Same old songs with a new name.

Skillet is a great band who is very underrated. Ignore the haters, and keep fighting for a faithful inviroment.

Ultimate Lifeform

I only found out about Skillet probably about four-six years ago. First song ever, Whispers in the Dark and loved it! And from there on, I checked out other songs and soon had an entire list. And til today, I have lived every song they have dished out! I WISH I had friends who love Skillet the way I do! I’d love to see them live!!! This newest album, I listened to it for the first time just yesterday and right away every song sparked my interest and I already live the album!!!! And I am already planning on buying it!!! Woot-woot!!! Keep the music coming!!!!!

Skillet is killing it! It is NOT as the negative reviews say. Decide for yourself, but I love it! Really like You Ain’t Ready, Finish Line, and Save Me.

Nothing gets me pumped up like Skillet. This album is fantastic!

This album has slowly became my favorite album yet. When I first began listening to the album I only liked 3/4 songs. I had the same thoughts as a few of the reviews “it sounds generic”. Honestly I was wrong and very wrong I was. The lyrics are amazing and live up the the Skillet expectations. The songs with strings in them live up to all the ones in the past. Plus Skillet knocked it out of the park with Victorious and Finish line. I have loved skillet since the Collide album. This album is something new while mixing in every album since then. Skillet has always been evolving and trying new sounds with their music. This album rocks hard while also having a new vibe to it on a couple of tracks. I truly believe if you buy this album and give it a fair chance it will bypass expectations. Skillet released another amazing album lead by faith, hard rock, and a little innovation.

My mom and I have always loved Skillet and they are a band I don’t think we will ever get tired of having jam sessions to. I don’t understand these negative comments, nobody is forcing y’all to continue listening to Skillet, so just move on in silence. Every band has a style and a message, until they feel led to change, let them be them. Period.

Anyone else notice that Legendary is EXACTLY like invincible? Literally the same. Thumbs down guys this crap is getting old

Sooo goood!

Great album people need to get out of the past an actually enjoy new songs.

It’s okay. A few cool songs, but wish the old skillet was back again.

I do not care what anyone says they keep getting better & better! I love the pump up motivational music, the lyrics are the best don’t change a thing keep doing your thing!! Love it!!!

That's who they are ! You know what you'll get , and it's awesome !

I was never a big Skillet fan as a kid. Now, older, looking for music to build the library for workouts or a long run and this’ll do just fine. Generic? Yeah I kinda see that point, but again for my purpose can’t complain.

I love the new album Guys. Keep up the amazing work and ignore the those who would be unkind. I love the new Album everyone is on point and that’s what I love about Skillet.

Go Hogs 2

It seems like a lot of people haven’t given this album the opportunity it deserves. Therefore, in my opinion, this could go down as one of Skillet’s most underrated albums. I’m going to give each song a rating and a quick description (as well as I can). 1. Legendary (4.5/5): This song is the high-energy style that the band has come to be known for. It’s the perfect song to be first on the album (and the first single). The lyrics can be a little repetitive, but it doesn’t really take much away from the song overall. 2. You Ain’t Ready (4.5/5): Another high-energy song, this time a little bit faster paced. The chorus is the best part for me. 3. Victorious (5/5): The absolute best song on the album for me! This song hits hard, both musically and emotionally. I’ve seen this song described as a “song of victory” and I agree wholeheartedly. (Perfectly named too.) 4. This is the Kingdom (4/5): A different style for Skillet, and they did pretty well with it in my opinion. It adds more diversity to the album. 5. Save Me (4.5/5): One of the heavier songs on the album, and the guitars shine because of it. Personally, it took me a couple times to get into it, but once I did it became one of my favorites from this album. 6. Rise Up (4/5): Fast-paced and high-energy. Not quite as good as the other two on the album of a similar style (Legendary and You Ain’t Ready), but it’s still easy to get into. 7. Terrify the Dark (4/5): The first ballad on the album. It changes up the pace and adds another different sound to the record. 8. Never Going Back (4.5/5): This song gets back to the hard-hitting sound heard earlier in the album. One of my personal favorites. 9. Reach (4.5/5): Fast-paced and fairly heavy. The guitar in this song reminds me a little bit of Barracuda by Heart at times. According to the band (in a recent YouTube video), the story behind this song was the inspiration for this album. 10. Anchor (5/5): The second ballad on this album. Definitely one of the best songs on this record. 11. Finish Line (4.5/5): A similar style to This is the Kingdom, but still with its own, unique sound. Again, it adds more diversity to the album. 12. Back to Life (4.5/5): A fast-paced, heavy-hitter to finish the album. The perfect record closer. The interlude/outro continues this and adds the cherry on top. Overall, this album has the high-energy that Skillet is known for (Legendary), great ballads (Anchor), a different sound for the band (Finish Line), and a heavier side (Save Me). When I first listened to the full album I couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear, none of the songs are just “good enough.” On top of all this, the album is full of great messages and inspiration (this factor puts the record over-the-top for me).

Victorious song could be super bowl 2020 song

t yak guitar

Skillet, I hope you read this I love your music and I practically have it all memorized and I listen to it every day!!!!! My whole family love it especially my Dad, Brother and I !!! Love this album!! ❤️❤️❤️

Second Hand

I’ve been a fan since their self-titled debut and I love this album. I like the heavier Skillet the best. This album has enough heavy with just enough power ballads in it to give it some variety. That said, the heavy riff-laden tunes like “You Ain’t Ready” and especially “Back to Life” are the tracks that get the repeat button the most. I think “Back to Life” is as heavy and hook-filled as anything they’ve done. I love the way it closes out - very creative - ending the album in memorable fashion.

Love it, every song!!!
